The Client is a Los Angeles based commercial printing company specializing in digital printing, offset printing, large format printing, packaging, mailing services, and same day rush printing. With more than 14 years of industry experience, the company serves thousands of businesses across automotive, healthcare, entertainment, education, retail, and real estate industries.
The engagement began with transforming a traditional service based printing business into a fully digital commerce platform where customers could independently browse products, configure print specifications, upload artwork, place orders, and manage projects online without relying on manual quotations or phone calls.
The platform supports multiple user types:
Store administrators manage products, pricing, categories, promotions, seasonal campaigns, customer orders, and platform content.

Image assets are delivered through AWS S3 and CDN infrastructure to ensure high performance across desktop and mobile devices while allowing the business to expand products, campaigns, and landing pages without rebuilding the platform.

Data Model & Access Control
The platform follows a centralized commerce architecture where administrators manage products, pricing, inventory visibility, promotional campaigns, customer accounts, artwork files, and order workflows from a unified dashboard. Product configurations, customer orders, uploaded artwork, production status, marketing campaigns, and CMS content remain synchronized throughout the platform to maintain operational consistency.
Role based permissions provide separate access for administrators, production teams, marketing managers, and customers. Administrative users manage catalog data and business operations, production teams review artwork and manufacturing workflows, marketing users control merchandising and promotional content, while customers securely access orders, uploads, and account information.
